to face by my facet, by evening and by day,
to information me alongside the trail of your reality
and guard me wherever I’m going…
Ship me some angels, Lord,
with braveness and power for after I’m afraid,
with knowledge and counsel for after I’m confused,
with data to point out me what’s proper and what’s improper…
Ship a flight of angels, Lord,
with the present of proper judgment to information my discernment,
with surprise and awe to carry up my prayer,
with want to attract me to hunt what’s true…
Ship a flight of angels, Lord,

Ship down choirs of angels, Lord,
with a spirit of reverence to humble my delight,

with pleasure – when sorrows flood my soul,
with love – when selfishness shrinks my coronary heart…
Ship a military of angels, Lord,
to maintain me trustworthy when I’m tempted,
to maintain me pure after I’d accept much less,
to maintain me resolved after I’m going through laborious instances…

I would like angels with me, evening and day,

and angels to protect me wherever I’m going…
And open my coronary heart to all these angels
who cross my path daily,
household, pals, neighbors and strangers:
beneficiant angels, prepared to assist me,

compassionate angels who share my tears,
therapeutic angels with mild fingers,
loyal angels who’ve my again,
comforting angels who share my sorrow,
smart angels who converse the reality,
trustworthy angels who pardon my faults
and unknown angels who come and go
and style my life with peace…
