Immediately is the thirty first anniversary of the independence of Ukraine from the Soviet Union. Talking of Russia’s invasion practically seven months in the past, President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned:
A brand new nation emerged
on February 24 at 4 a.m. Not born, however reborn. A nation that did not cry, did not
scream, did not get scared. Did not run away. Did not hand over. Did not
neglect,” He added: “Each
new day is a brand new motive not to surrender. As a result of, having gone via a lot,
now we have no proper to not attain the top. What’s the finish of the battle for us? We
used to say: Peace. Now we are saying: Victory.”

In our personal, private conflicts, Lord,
within the face of what invades our serenity and peace,
when confronted with what’s grim, bleak and hopeless,
once we’re fatigued by estrangement and hostility:
give us energy to face with you
and stand our floor,
give us will to persevere although thick and skinny,
give us braveness to be courageous once we are weak,
give us trigger not to surrender
and coronary heart to hold on
till with you we discover the victory
within the grace that you’ve promised
to those that observe you
on the trail from demise to life…
Let the phrases of President Zelensky,
the dancers in Odessa
and the ability of your Spirit, Lord,
convey religion and hope and even pleasure
to every and all of us
till your peace is all we all know…
Shield us, Lord whereas we’re awake
and watch over us whereas we sleep
that awake, we would hold watch with you
and asleep, relaxation in your peace…
