What’s Following You? A Devotional by Gail Rodgers

In Psalm 23 He invitations us to pitch our tent and camp on the truth that He’s our Good Shepherd.

What eats on the heels of your life as you stroll?

Fear? Stress? Concern? God guarantees Goodness and Mercy will observe you as you observe Him.

Certainly goodness and mercy shall observe me all the times of my life and I’ll dwell in the home of the Lord perpetually.” Psalm 23:6

Cease for a second and attempt to determine what it’s that’s in your heels as you undergo your day. Do you are feeling pressured by time? Does thankfulness depart it’s path behind you as you go?  Or Is concern of tomorrow or remorse of yesterday chasing after you?

God is aware of we are inclined to reside with issues at our heels. In Psalm 23 He invitations us to pitch our tent and camp on the truth that He’s our Good Shepherd. Once we select each day to observe Him He leads us in quiet locations and offers relaxation and power to our souls. Oh, the stuff of life might clamor and swirl but He gives peace as we concentrate on Him.

He is aware of the valleys and the shadows that can “canine” us as we stroll but He calls us to stroll calmly, confidently and fearlessly with Him. HE will nurture us even after we stroll in unfriendly territory.

Your cup can run over right this moment with pleasure and thankfulness, it doesn’t matter what else is occurring. It’s attainable as a result of the Good Shepherd leads you and He’ll ensure that goodness and mercy observe you as you observe Him.

Thanks Lord that You might be my Good Shepherd. Might my focus right this moment be on You first and the peace and confidence and fearlessness that You assist me to stroll in. Thanks for Your promise that goodness and mercy will observe me all the times of my life. Give me an undivided coronary heart to observe laborious after You. In Jesus’ title I pray, amen.

I recommend you print off Psalm 23 and punctiliously learn by it on daily basis this week in each the morning and the night. It can affect your life!
