(RNS) — The Seventh-day Adventist Church has eliminated a New York Metropolis pastor who stated in a sermon earlier this month that husbands could rape their wives.
Burnett Robinson, who served as senior pastor of Grand Concourse Seventh-day Adventist Church for 9 years, is now not a pastor within the denomination, stated Kevin Lampe, a communications marketing consultant for the SDA.
