all’s a present
out of your coronary heart and hand

My being, my life,
my coronary heart and my soul,
my thoughts’s finest ideas
– all are your items to me…
My household and associates,
the roof above me, the meals on my desk,
my freedom to talk my religion
– all are your items to me…
My skills and abilities,
my desires and concepts,
instinct and creativity
– all of those, items out of your hand…
– all of those, items out of your hand…
My religion and my belief,
my ardour and love,
my pleasure and my energy
– all are your items to me…
My want for reality,
my starvation for peace,
my thirst for lasting, deep pleasure
– all are your items to me..,
Nothing I’ve is all my very own.
all’s on mortgage from you to me,
given to me to provide away,
to share with any and all in want…
Of all I’ve, Lord,
all’s a present
out of your coronary heart and hand

For all I’ve obtained,
I thanks, Lord,
and for all I’ve,
I give you reward:
Giver of each good reward…
Defend me, Lord, whereas I am awake,
and watch over my sleep tonight
that awake, I’d hold watch with you
and asleep, relaxation in your peace…

What do I’ve that has not been given to me?
What do I’ve that’s simply my very own?
When all useless pleasure is gone I see
that every one is reward to me, given freely.
Now from my mom my physique was taken,
my father too that is how I used to be made.
Creator’s breath blew into this mud:
withdraw your love, Lord, I’d go away.
What do I’ve that has not been given to me,
all my energy, intelligent wit or robust may?
Although I can select what to do with all that I’ve,
the power is not any work of mine
What do I’ve that has not been given to me?
This religion I maintain and imagine,
this reward was withheld till my arms wearied of greedy,
slowly opened to completely obtain.
What do I’ve that has not been given to me?
what do I’ve that’s simply my very own?
