In My Life – A Devotional by Roy Lessin

In my bother God is larger,
In my weak spot He’s sturdy;
In my trial God is dearer,
In my sorrow He’s my tune.
In my burden God is mighty,
In my storm He calms the ocean;
In my tears I do know His consolation,
In my life He’s all to me.

If God is for us, who can ever be towards us? Since He didn’t spare even His personal Son however gave Him up for us all, gained’t He additionally give us every part else? Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for His personal? Nobody — for God Himself has given us proper standing with Himself. Who then will condemn us? Nobody—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and He’s sitting within the place of honor at God’s proper hand, pleading for us. Can something ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it imply He now not loves us if we’ve bother or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or at risk, or threatened with loss of life? (Because the Scriptures say, “To your sake we’re killed on daily basis; we’re being slaughtered like sheep.” ) No, regardless of all this stuff, overwhelming victory is ours by means of Christ, who liked us. And I’m satisfied that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither loss of life nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for in the present day nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No energy within the sky above or within the earth under—certainly, nothing in all creation will ever have the ability to separate us from the love of God that’s revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
