A Devotional recognizing how God Comforts us once we are wounded – in and out.
“Reward be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all consolation, who comforts us in all our troubles, in order that we are able to consolation these in any hassle with the consolation we ourselves have acquired from God” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
We’re comforted as a result of we’re heartbroken. We’re comforted as a result of we want a blessing. We’re comforted as a result of God loves us. We’re comforted to consolation others. Whereas every of the above statements is true, the final is essentially the most essential one. There’s something about consolation that can’t be absolutely realized till it’s shared with another person. It’s that remaining step within the therapeutic strategy of grief, disappointment, harm, and loss. Till we share the consolation we have now acquired, till we move it on to a different, our consolation is weak and shallow and restricted. Consolation — move it on!
O LORD, God of heaven and earth, Creator of the universe, thanks for realizing my coronary heart, caring about my considerations, and comforting me when I’m wounded. Assist me to share your grace, mercy, and luxury with another person in the present day. In Jesus’ title I pray. Amen.
