God is Trustworthy – A Devotional by Max Lucado

Our God is a promise-keeping God?
Others might make a promise and neglect it. But when God makes a promise, he retains it.
The Guide of Hebrews publicizes, “God has given each his promise and his oath” (Hebrews 6:18). The scripture goes on to say, “He who promised is trustworthy” (Hebrews 10:23).
Does this matter? Does God’s integrity make a distinction? Does his faithfulness come into play? When your daughter is on life assist, it does. When you’re pacing the ER flooring, it does. When you’re questioning what to do together with your worst nightmare, you need to select. Religion or concern, God’s goal or random historical past, a God who is aware of and cares, or a God who isn’t there?
All of us select. Select to belief God’s guarantees. Select to imagine that God is as much as one thing good, though all you see appears unhealthy.
Select to imagine as a result of God is trustworthy!
