I grew up on a small farm, the youngest of 4 in a 2 bed room log home. For many of my rising up years we had an outhouse, no cellphone. Chilly snowy winters exterior have been warmed by a pot stomach wooden range inside. Alcoholism made a big impact and formed all this. My mom was a powerful girl. She lived by World Warfare II and the Nice Melancholy. Life appeared to have given her a harsh edge. Empathy was not a energy. But there was this tender facet I found late one evening. I’d been sick. After going to mattress, mother, considering I used to be asleep, gently ran her fingers by my hair. This act of tenderness was repeated in my rising up years. This tenderness confirmed me a facet of my mother that was not typically evident however but very actual. It gave me a larger confidence and safety in my relationship along with her.
At instances my view of God has lacked an understanding of His tenderness. My understanding has been formed by a few verses…
“He (God) tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them near his coronary heart; he gently leads those who have younger.” – Isaiah 40:11 (NIV)
The context of this passage is an outline of God energy that shapes the universe, the nations and the rulers of the world. But in the course of that is the snapshot of His tenderness…
“You (God) have additionally given me the defend of Your salvation, and Your proper hand upholds me; and Your gentleness makes me nice.”
–Psalms 18:35 (NASB)
Gentleness within the context of energy is a profound distinction and present. My mother gave me the primary glimpse of this. As I’ve embraced God’s mild contact within the circumstances of life it has introduced therapeutic, safety and luxury. Permit God to hold you at this time.

God guarantees us “peace that passes understanding” in different phrases peace in a world that doesn’t make sense. You’ll be able to know peace and hope even when your world is in turmoil. God doesn’t change. Ever.
