“Jesus informed him, ‘I’m the way in which, the reality, and the life. Nobody can come to the Father besides by way of me’” John 14:6
What’s fact? This morning I learn an article within the every day newspaper reporting supposedly the “actual” fact about an incident that occurred just lately. Was it? Or was it one other opinion?
Some folks lie out rightly or solely inform a few of the details. Some withhold data and provides a misunderstanding. Typically, nothing is claimed when the reality must be informed. Can we imagine anybody anymore? And, if we’re sincere, we should confess that at one time or one other, we too are responsible of telling lies.
In his guide What’s the Father Like?, Philip Keller writes that what God says is completely true as a result of He’s the embodiment of all fact, and all fact by way of all time has its supply in God.
This jogged my memory that fact is fixed and unchanging. God’s fact stays the identical from age to age, era to era, regardless of how issues change. God’s fact will set us free, if we act upon it. If we ignore it, our lives could be wrecked — damaged hearts, hopes, properties, and even international locations.
If our lives are centered in God’s fact, He is ready to renew our minds, calmly information our feelings, and activate our will to inform the reality. His presence brings fact and might convey an impressive, purifying affect into our lives.
The Lord Jesus, the Reality, can restore our soul, heal our illnesses, protect us in peril, and make us stay in peace. To stay life not believing in absolute fact robs us of the steadiness He seeks to provide to us. We are able to belief God to be completely truthful — He can not lie. The extra we’re centered in Him, the extra we’ll turn out to be like Him — extra truthful.
We generally marvel if what we’re informed by others is the reality. With God, we by no means need to marvel. He’s Reality.
Father, You alone are absolute fact. You can’t lie. Your Phrase is Reality, and we will depend on it. Trigger our lives to be centered in You and make us extra like You — the Reality. Amen.
