Whether or not I stroll that route or not, Lord,

Clear Creek flows from west to east,

at all times able to allure and cheer…

Whether or not I pause on the bridge or stroll on by,

the waters stream with spirit and style,

        coursing, faithfully, on their method…

Whether or not I are available tears or stuffed with pleasure

the creek is aware of properly what my soul wants

to lighten, bless and heal my coronary heart…

And wherever I could also be, Lord,

    – similar to Clear Creek and much more –

you are at all times there, ready for me,

ready with endurance ’til I arrive,

ready with like to welcome me,

ready with mercy to pardon me,

ready with grace to consolation me,

ready with  knowledge to counsel me,

ready with energy to elevate me up,

ready with peace that streams and flows

beneath my ft and on all sides

out of your coronary heart into mine…

Shield me, Lord, whereas I am awake

and watch over me whereas I sleep

that awake, I would preserve watch with you

and asleep relaxation in your peace…

Because the deer longs for operating streams,
so I lengthy, so I lengthy, so I lengthy for you.

1) A-thirst my soul for you the God who’s my life!

When shall I see, when shall I see,
see the face of God?

2) Echoes meet as deep is looking unto deep,
over my head, all of your mighty waters,
sweeping over me.

3) Frequently the foe delights in taunting me:
“The place is God, the place is your God?”
The place, O the place, are you?

4) Defend me, God, ship forth your gentle and your reality,
they may lead me to your holy mountain,
to your dwelling place.

5) Then I shall go unto the altar of my God,

praising you, so my pleasure and gladness

I shall reward your title.
