A Harmony Pastor Feedback: NIGHT PRAYER: Friday 9/10

The times are rising shorter, Lord:

sundown walks are shadowed now by dusk

and after I’m again the moon and stars are out…

I’ve a pocket mild for just-in-case

however unafraid, I make my manner

as a result of I belief, I do know, you are by my facet:

I don’t stroll alone…

Passersby may suppose I’ve not a pal

to share my night stroll

however you are with me each step I take:

I don’t stroll alone…

We discuss in silence, sharing phrases

that by no means cross our lips,

you hear as you prepared the ground:

I don’t stroll alone…

Your presence is my consolation, Lord,

with out you, I would be misplaced;

you give me hope to hold on:

I don’t stroll alone…

Shield me, Lord, whereas I am awake,

hold vigil whereas I sleep

that awake, I’d hold watch with you

and asleep, relaxation in your peace…

Amen.

You Do Not Stroll Alone by Elaine Hagenberg

Could you see God’s mild on the trail forward

when the street you stroll is darkish.

Could you at all times hear
even in your hour of sorrow

the mild singing of the lark.

When instances are onerous

might hardness by no means flip your coronary heart to stone.

Could you at all times bear in mind when the shadows fall:

    you don’t stroll alone.
