A Harmony Pastor Feedback: NIGHT PRAYER: Friday 5/6

It was heat final night time, Lord,

and thru my open window

I heard Brother Owl calling

‘neath the sunshine of Sister Moon…

Mushy hoots, so heat and soothing:

    a mantra for my soul,

    a lullaby for compline,

    a night music of peace…

However in his hoo-hoo-hoo

I am certain I heard your Spirit chanting,

    asking: Who, Who, Who?

Who’s the One who loves you? Who?

Who’s the One whose love you search?

Who’s the One you lengthy and watch for,

who’s the One who waits for you?

Who’s the One who fills your coronary heart,

who overflows its breadth and depths?

Who’s the One who all the time pardons,

who’s the one whose mercy heals?

Who’s the One who is aware of your title,

who calls you Chosen, Buddy, Beloved?

Who’s the One who sings his love for you,

who sings the entire night time via?

Who’s the One who holds you when you sleep,

who wakes you, come the daybreak?

Who’s the One who is aware of you inside out,

who loves you head to toe?

Who’s the One who all the time was, who’s,

    who ever extra shall be?

Who’s the One you lengthy and watch for,

who waits all night time for you?

Shield me, Lord, whereas I am awake,

hold vigil whereas I sleep

that awake, I’d hold watch with you

and sleep in your deep peace…

Amen.

Tonight’s music is predicated on Native American music accompanied by the music of hooting owls; the choice is prolonged so simply hear for so long as you pray…
