A Christmas Poem: As soon as Upon a Time

As soon as upon a starry night time
A single star proven ever brilliant
Outshone angels hovering a area
Telling shepherds who rightly kneeled
Of the beginning of the Chosen One
Born of Mary, God’s personal Son
Sensible males adopted that singular star
Touring for days from afar
With the shepherds they got here to see
The King of kings who units us free
Mendacity in a lowly manger stall
To save lots of the misplaced, every one
Every December I search the sky
However maybe I ought to look in mid-July
Since we don’t know when He was born
Was snow on the bottom or fields filled with corn
However the truth of His beginning is true and positive
Religion in His grace will salvation safe
As we gaze upon a starry night time
Allow us to not feud, bicker, and battle
Could we show hate is defeated by love
As we ponder the heavens above
Realizing we’re by no means alone
And mercy sits upon His throne
