SPEAK THE RIGHT WORDS.
(Matthew 12:36-37, James 3:1-2
For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.
The text for today, Matthew 12:36-37 is rendered thus in the message Bible, “Let me tell you something: Every one of these careless words is going to come back to haunt you. There will be a time of Reckoning. Words are powerful; take them seriously. Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation.”
In the Good News Bible, it is rendered thus, “You can be sure that on the Judgment Day you will have to give account of every useless word you have ever spoken. Your words will be used to judge you – to declare you either innocent or guilty.”
Having this knowledge, it is important we pay attention to the words we speak for we shall be judged by them.
Proverbs 10:19 states, “In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise.” Be wise!
Pray and seek to be slow to speak and to speak the right words..
Beloved, because you have been privileged by God Almighty to witness the light of today, I strongly pray for you that your eyes will not see evil. Your ears will not hear evil, your feet will not enter the trap of your enemies and the evil nets of your adversaries will not catch you in Jesus name. The evil arrows of your enemies that fly in the day will not hit you and any member of your family. You will go out today in peace and surely return in greater peace not in pieces in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
