Nationwide Council of Church buildings elects all-female officers, approves NRSV replace

(RNS) — The Nationwide Council of Church buildings has elected an all-female slate of officers for the primary time within the ecumenical group’s 71-year historical past.

Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton, chief of the Fifth Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, on Wednesday (Oct. 13) grew to become chair of the group, beginning a two-year time period together with the opposite officers.
